As Project Manager in the COO Office, you will be reporting directly to the Head of COO Office and you will have the following responsibilities:

Strategy & Project Management:

  • Support the COO and the Head of COO Office in defining and driving the Global Operations strategy and transformation
  • Coordinate and contribute to Global Office transversal & strategic projects (project management & documentation; follow up of planning and deliverables, projects prioritization and risk assessment)
  • Support in the preparation and follow up of strategic meetings (e.g. Strategic Dialogue, Planning Dialogue, Board Meetings, Audits, COO Meetings, etc.) for the COO incl. presentations, briefings, qualitative/quantitative analysis, follow up of next steps

Governance:

  • Support the Head of COO Office in driving governance & communication with all COO related stakeholders (e.g. Regional COOs, Regional Organization Management, etc.) and with the Global Office 1st line managers and project managers
  • Follow-up with senior managers, peers and other functions to ensure completion of projects across AZP; communicate and serve as a liaison between group centers and departments on behalf of COO (e.g. AZ Group COO Office, BD, ITC0, Strategy, Finance, Audit, etc.)

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Participate in the yearly Planning Dialog covering the full Operation scope
  • Support the Head of COO Office in preparing, managing, and controlling the Global COO budget (forecasts, internal/external spend controlling, etc.) covering the Global Office Operation teams

Communication:

  • Prepare all internal and external COO related communication (e.g. intranet, newsletters, articles, blogs)
  • Drive Allianz Engagement Survey (AES) and all follow-up measures for the Global Office Operation teams and support in coordination for the full Operation scope

Profile:

  • Proven experience of project management, in large and complex organizations (project management, scheduling, risk management)
  • Good experience in strategy and strategic planning
  • Ability to produce high quality deliverables, attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to process complex information and convert into simple easy to understand, at all levels; Ability to prepare communication for senior top managers / executives
  • Excellent organizational skills and at ease with multi-tasking
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable in a changing environment, where ability to react and handle short-notice requests is expected
  • Financial analysis / budgeting skills
  • Good experience in monitoring and analyzing data, and setting up dashboard with KPIs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to foster relationships with peers and other functional teams
  • Highly motivated, dynamic, self-steering and team player

Key Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in consulting
  • English writing and speaking proficiency a minimum requirement – A second language would be a plus
  • (German, French, Italian, Spanish)
  • Willingness to travel abroad (estimated~10% of time)
  • Solid computer skills: MS Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Project, etc.
