Paralegal (m/f), Antony (Dpt. 92)

The position would entail

• Researching European Directives and Regulations, german national and regional (landers) laws.
• Summarizing new or revised EHS german laws and regulations for clients;
• Identifying legislative and regulatory texts applicable to client facilities in Germany
• Monitoring EHS issues to alert clients on expected regulations for Germany;
• Drafting summaries of new and trending EHS policies for publication.

Qualifications

• University degree or law school background with a specialization in Environment and Healt & Safety (EHS)
• Entry level applicants with less than two years of experience preferred.

Skills

• Paralegal or EHS professional who is German speaking and fluent in English.
• Strong analytical, research, writing and communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to research and analyze German law and policy.
• Previous experience in regulatory compliance, including contacts with regulatory bodies and the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 processes would be desirable; 
• Candidates without previous experience may be considered if they can demonstrate interest and understanding of German environment, health and safety issues.
