The main missions

• Be responsible for managing the logistic activities of the plant and for deploying the Group's Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) policy
• Lead the logistics team including the adequate staffing, training and development of team members
• Ensure customer satisfaction: supervise day to day activities, anticipate customer requirements and maintain good relationships, manage the launch of new programs within the plant
• Improve the performance and relationships of suppliers and logistic partners
• Monitor logistic processes: supervise day to day activities, prepare and propose the Sales and Operations Plan to the plant management committee, assure the responsibility of the Master Scheduling Plan with the Autonomous Production Unit (UAP) Manager
• Monitor logistics performance and implement necessary improvement actions in coordination with other plant functions
• Participate in the development of the Division PC&L network

Profile

• Master's degree in Logistics or a similar subject
• Experience in Production/Logistics in an industrial environment, preferably within the automotive industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Sound knowledge in project management
• Minimum bi-lingual (English and German required)
