Finance Manager Healthcare - German / English (m/f/d), Mannheim

Key responsibilities

  • In direct cooperation with the local management, you will be in charge of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and economic planning
  • Preparation of cost accruals, revenue equalization calculations and revenue validations
  • Analysis of the monthly plan-actual deviation
  • Preparation and follow-up of budget negotiations and implementation in the nursing homes
  • Determination of key business indicators (productivity, profitability, cash flow)
  • Communication with the operational business units
  • Continuation and further development of internal reporting, processes, & IT tools
  • Preparation of regular performance reports to shareholders in English
  • Cash management and relationship with the banks
  • Responsible for the relationship with the chartered account and auditors
  • Participating in M&A due diligence processes or greenfield projects analysis, and coordinating post-merger integration
  • Managing a team of 5 accountants, plus 2-3 administrative employees

Expected profile

  • Degree in business administration or economics / controlling / finance and accounting
  • Professional experience of 8-10 years in a similar position, ideally in the nursing home industry
  • Excellent capacities in the area of controlling in a multisite organization
  • Profound knowledge of MS-Office products, desirable knowledge of DATEV
  • Analytical thinking and solution-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to perform with the ability to work in a team
  • High level of personal commitment and strong communication skills
  • Experience in growing companies and capacity of structuring post-merger integration
  • Fluency in English required, French is a plus
