Customer Inspection Manager (Representative) (m/w), Hamburg

The CIM represents the Customer (aircraft owner) and is the interface with the OEMs during the aircraft final assembly process:
Technical (airframe, engines, systems); Cabin equipment; Aircraft acceptance & delivery


  • Represent and support the Customer for each FAL Presentation/Inspection;
  • Participate as the Customer Representative during the FAL coordination meetings 
  • Ensure the coordination between the different Customer Managers 
  • Follow the QLBs, Concessions and deviations 
  • Ensure corrective actions are taken immediately during the Presentation or recorded tracked and closed at a later date
  • Generate timely and accurate Inspection Reports
  • Attend on-demand Presentations as defined by the Customer
  • Provide technical assistance during the delivery and acceptance phase

Required skills

  • Customer Inspection Representatives qualifications and experience 
  • EASA Part 66 B1 Licensed Engineer (or equivalent)
  • A320 qualified (desirable)
  • Base maintenance experience as inspector (desirable)
  • Aircraft Production Line Inspector (desirable)
  • More than 10 years aircraft production, engineering or maintenance experience
  • Excellent technological aeronautical knowledge (aerodynamics & flight controls, general technology, structure, aircraft systems, avionics & electrical installations)
  • Superior intercultural skills and customer minded
  • Good organizational skills
  • Fluent technical English written and spoken
  • French and/or German optional 
  • Capable of working alone and without supervision
  • Good knowledge of international relations
  • Good computer skills
