Area Sales Manager EMEA - Engineered Fabrics - English & German (m/f/d), Home office

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful market and business development of the company's products and services, primarily in Germany, Benelux and Central Europe
• Maintain and grow profitable sales, forecasts, and identify business opportunities
• Develop the customer base in line with the strategic business plan
• Identify new business and product opportunities
• Manage and support the existing customer base
• Build and strengthen customer relationships and loyalty
• Develop strategic relationships within all functional areas at the customer's site
• Liaise with technicians and production staff at internal and external customers
• Analyze competitors' activities in the market, develop and implement strategies to counteract these activities

Your profile

• Degree in Engineering or comparable university education
• Strong knowledge of the process industry, preferable from the Food, Building or Nonwoven or other related industries
• Several years of experience in the field of technology, sales or technical support in industrial B2B business
• Highly self-motivated and work independently while being a team player
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Willing to travel domestic and international
• Good written and spoken German and English language skills are required, fluency in French or Dutch would be appreciated
