Role

The Sales Manager position plays a key role in EMEA Geography to identify, convert and develop client relationships in UK (and potentially in Scandinavia) in the area of Engineering Design Services.

This position has the responsibility for increasing the market presence of our client in UK (and potentially in Scandinavia), working along with teams of Marketing, Presales and Delivery professionals across the globe.

This position will be located in London, and will report to the Vertical Sales Head of the Region.

Responsibilities

Sales Management

  • Identification of opportunities in Engineering Design Space in UK (and potentially in Scandinavia) with specific focus on segments such as Transportation, Heavy Engineering, Electronics - through collaborative design and implementation of Marketing Campaigns along with the Marketing and Practice Delivery Units 
  • Handle the sales cycle for thus generated opportunities (meetings, follow-ups, conversion, contract formulation and revenue generation)

Contract Management

  • Lead and facilitate the contract negotiation efforts with potential clients to optimize the benefits to the organization

Revenue & Growth Management

  • Responsible for budgeting & achievement of revenue targets in Europe

Client & Relationship Management

  • Responsible for the identification and communication of the Critical Success Factors of each client engagement to the respective stake holders in the organization.
  • Maintain & Manage relationships with the Senior Management of Key Clients

Desired Profile

  • 5 to 10 years experience in handling Sales and Relationship Management function in UK / Scandinavia
  • Exposure to Transportation / Heavy Engineering / Electronics segments. 
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with experience in proposal creation and presentations. Language skills in additional European languages will be an added advantage.
  • Preferable but not a must: Exposure to Engineering Services Segment. Experience in working with Cross Border Engineering / Outsourcing model (with countries such as India).
