Job Description

The candidate will control the quality performance of different OEM's or their suppliers and maintain and improve their productive processes to assure the achievement and maintenance of all required specifications. He/she must be able to plan effectively, develop, communicate and execute projects within a defined scope, conducting necessary meetings among different involved departments by using appropriate quality methods.

You will coordinate suppliers and internal departments in terms of specific quality requirements, set individual goals, monitor implementation progress of such requirements and insure proper outcome of guidelines.

You will verify, document and communicate project results, develop project reports, leading reviews, and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective action / follow-up. The candidate must possess interpersonal skills to resolve conflict, conduct interviews and make presentations effectively.

Requirements

• Experience in quality engineering or product engineering)
• Flexibility to travel within the EU
• Enthusiasm about the automotive industry
• Problem solving experience
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Fluent in German language
• Fluent in English language

Specific requirements:

Product and/or Quality Engineers:

• Able to perform analysis support for pre-series, series and field issues
• Ability to prioritize top issues and create individual activities and long-term solutions
• support pre-series builds of new models to help identify, analyze, and drive resolution of new model specific problems (quality-related)
• Ability to investigate root cause of functional issues
• Experience working with warranty data
• Professional experience with Interior-Exterior Product management
• Knowledge of Interior/Exterior Parts and their manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of Standard Quality Tools and Analysis processes
• Automotive experience including working with component suppliers, development groups, service providers
• Experience in supplier quality management and/or Quality Systems Basics according to ISO 9001 and able to take
• Responsibility for automotive supplier development and monitoring

Education:

• B Eng. degree in engineering field (Quality, industrial, mechanical preferred)
