Using our online travel magazine, our Content Marketing & Communication team aims to use relevant educational or emotional storytelling in order to get users to learn about and like trivago as their first source of hotel-related information. Now we are looking for an analytically minded individual who will focus on our campaigns in France in order to ensure that they are reaching as wide an audience as possible. You will need to know every element of your market and, as you seek valuable opportunities for our campaigns, you will research traffic, keywords and audiences in order to maximize our search visibility, reach and engagement. You will also stay on top of news and social trends in order to consider new content opportunities and potential project briefs to present to the team. You will be our analytics expert, employing tools to measure campaign performances and using the results to help inform our future strategy. As the team's search engine optimization consultant, you will ensure that all of our online magazine's content is optimized so as to increase our search engine visibility and check our backlink portfolio to make sure that reputable sites are redirecting to ours.

Our Sales and Account Management department is looking for a passionate and experienced negotiator to join the team and help expand our exciting CPC business in France and Benelux. We want an analytical mastermind who can develop and maintain relationships with hotel chains, optimize account performances, grow revenue and apply appropriate strategies for the respective markets. If you are an assertive individual who knows about hotels' electronic distribution options and channels and have the ambition to drive trivago to the next level then we look forward to hearing from you!

Your challenges

  • Take ownership of our French and Benelux account base of Hotel Chains.
  • Pitch opportunities to new advertisers.
  • Define a sales strategy for your markets and regularly draw up reports to underline your markets' development.
  • Analyse and trouble shoot errors in the interface of the chains and trivago and communicate your findings with technical teams in order to resolve the issue.
  • Monitor daily click performance of our advertisers, analyse changes in traffic and performance patterns e.g. conversions, ROI, price consistency, interface performance.
  • Use your expertise in the online travel market to make suggestions to advertisers to help them grow and improve their performance, as well as trivago's.

Your profile

  • French language skills at native level and fluent in English - our company language.
  • Lived in France for several years and know the French hospitality market like the back of your hand.
  • Gained relevant experience (+2 years) with an online company.
  • Experience in account management for Online Travel Agencies or Meta Searches would be awesome.
  • Thorough knowledge of hotel's electronic distribution options and channels. CRS, PMS, CM, GDS, IBE don't sound like Greek to you.
  • Confidence is a must. You also have exceptional communication skills which makes you an engaging negotiator.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills make it easy for you to recognise and analyse trends.
  • You reflect trivago's colourful culture by being open-minded and enjoy working in lively fast paced atmosphere.
