Visual Meta GmbH is an innovative e-commerce company based in the heart of Berlin, which has grown rapidly since being founded in 2009. Since 2011 our company has been taken over by the Axel Springer group.

We run shopping platforms named LadenZeile and ShopAlike worldwide, offering fashion, furniture and a variety of other products to our users. Our service is used by thousands of daily visitors and an ever-increasing number of partner shops.

Now we are looking for a motivated colleague (m/f) for our international sales team, with the focus on acquisition, to support and promote the further expansion of our shopping portal www.shopalike.fr as soon as possible.

Your profile

  • First working experience in customer acquisition and/or affiliate marketing, ideally gained in a B2B focused e-commerce company
  • Native level of French and very good English skills
  • Love being on the phone and passionate about turning potential customers into long-term partners
  • Affinity for the e-commerce and online marketing sector, preferably good knowledge of the local e-commerce industry
  • Proactive, motivated and self-dependent individual with strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills as well as a professional, friendly and customer-oriented personality 
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point, ideally first experience with a CRM tool
  • Structured, organized and an analytical mindset 

Your responsibilities

  • Acquiring new French partner shops via telephone and mail
  • Taking care of incoming enquiries of new potential partners
  • Generating and maintaining a qualified database of potential sales leads
  • Negotiating and preparing contracts
  • Follow-ups and accompanying our new partners through the onboarding process 
  • Updating and maintaining our CRM database
  • Working closely with other sales managers and departments such as Quality, Finance, Marketing and IT
