For our client one of the world's leading ecommerce companies we are looking for a:

Online Traffic Manager (f/m), Amsterdam, Netherlands

The Role

As the traffic manager you will be central in strategy, planning and developing our traffic for our 12 markets across Europe. You will have traffic KPI's measuring the quantity and quality of traffic coming to our sites within the targeted cost.

A crucial part of your role is understanding the ever changing landscape of traffic and find ways to constantly improve and develop the incoming traffic. Both sheer volume, but also quality and ROI. You have good experience of the traffic mix and have worked with SEA, affiliates, retargeting, attribution and behavioral based targeting.

Within your team you have a SEA specialist and we are currently recruiting an affiliate specialist.

As the Traffic manager you will have the responsibility, and freedom, to shape the online traffic strategy to best meet the ROI targets and you will be a member of the Online Management Team.

You might be a manager already, but we also see possibilities if you are a really good specialist who is looking to develop your management skills.

The position will be based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Malmö, Sweden; or Romsey in the UK

Tasks

  • Traffic strategy, budget and execution
  • Managing a small, but potentially growing online traffic team
  • Working closely with other managers in the online team in planning and execution of overall online strategy
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and commission structures for affiliates and partners
  • Keep up to date on online traffic trends and developments
  • Effectively coordinate with other team members and departments 
  • Monitor traffic activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement new ways to increase traffic ROI
  • Present regular analysis reports

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience with preferably two or more of the following areas of online traffic; SEA, Retargeting, Affiliates, partners, Display advertising, attribution
  • Three (3) or more years of online marketing experience
  • Experience using a web analytics tools like Google Web Analytics
  • Has worked previously with Criteo, DoubleClick, Adwords and/or similar.
  • Strong foundation in statistics
  • Good understanding of ROI targets
  • A will to constantly develop and improve and a dislike towards status quo
  • Excellent English
