Junior Ecommerce Specialist CE region (f/m), Amsterdam, Netherlands

The Role

As the Ecommerce specialist you will be working closely with the German web shop manager and the CE online team in driving traffic and sales to the German and Austrian web shops. You will be creating content, managing affiliate partners and finding new traffic sources, and looking into analytics how to improve the users experience both on and off the websites.

You have experience in the German online market, and can easily identify opportunities. Your previous role included creating online content, managing affiliate networks, and/or working with analytic tools to improve conversion rates and user experience.

Tasks

• Working closely with the German web shop manager in maximizing the users online experience when visiting the German and Austrian websites
• Content creation both on and off site
• Manage relations with partners, affiliates and other traffic sources
• Monitor product sales statistics closely and implement improvements on products and placements 
• Manage on-page and off-page SEO initiatives and identifying opportunities for SEO improvements
• Manage social media and newsletter content
• Using Google Analytics to find improvements to site and customer journey
• Co-operating with the online teams to develop best practice 
• Working closely with the group's SEM/SEA Specialist, Analyst, Designers and SEO Specialist to ensure that all areas are running optimally

Requirements

• German speaking, good communication skills in English
• An excellent writer
• At least 1-3 years of ecommerce experience.
• Previously worked hands on with SEM/SEA, SEO, campaigns and/or affiliate marketing
• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics
• Attention to detail
• Strong will to develop and improve
• Determined and competitive
